Shanghai Cantilever Parasol

The 3m Deluxe Cantilever Garden Parasol is designed to create a spacious area of cooling shade over your corner lounging sets or dining tables. To ensure stability, it requires a weighted base (not included). With its free-standing design, this parasol eliminates the need for a central pole, offering versatile placement options.

Featuring an easy-to-operate crank and tilt system, you can effortlessly adjust the canopy position to suit your needs. The pedal mechanism at the base allows you to raise the canopy with ease, and the parasol can be fully closed when not in use. For safety, we recommend keeping it closed during windy conditions.

Crafted from polyester fabric with a weather-proof coating and a UPF sun protection level of 50, this cantilever parasol combines functionality with style. With a sturdy 48mm pole and 24 durable ribs, it offers both strength and durability.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
