Heavy Duty Wooden Log Store – 5ft High × 6ft Wide (LS5X6)

Our popular British-made, heavy-duty timber firewood store. The LS5X6 gives you generous log-storage capacity in a practical shallow-depth design, built by Churnet Valley Garden Furniture in Staffordshire from pressure-treated Scandinavian redwood.

Why choose this log store?

  • Heavy-duty structure: 95 × 45mm timber uprights, 45 × 45mm framework and approximately 11mm timber cladding, with bracing for stability.
  • Pressure-treated timber: treated to help resist rot and decay when correctly cared for outdoors.
  • Open-fronted storage: easy to stack and retrieve firewood with airflow around the logs.
  • Part-assembled delivery: supplied in sections for final assembly.

Size and delivery

Nominal dimensions: 5ft high × 6ft wide. Approximate overall height 150cm, depth 67cm, weight 80kg. Published width dimensions for this model vary between 180cm and 190cm depending on measurement convention and roof projection, so please contact us if you have a tight space or require an exact installed footprint.

Delivery is generally by kerbside pallet courier, with an estimated 5–10 working-day lead time for eligible mainland UK addresses. Some areas and postcodes carry surcharges or exclusions; check the live delivery information or ask before ordering. The vehicle may be a large lorry, so please check vehicle and pallet access.

Making the most of your log store

Position the log store on a stable, level surface and allow ventilation around your firewood. Outdoor timber naturally changes colour and may develop surface checks. Pressure treatment reduces the risk of decay but does not make the store completely waterproof or maintenance-free.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
