Ergonomic Chair (Available with or without footstool)

(Footstool can be bought as an optional extra, select your option below)

Description:
This single ergonomic chair is built to last for years to come, with pressure treated timber that won't rot for up to 20 years, making our ergonomic chair a real value for money product.

We use the finest Scandinavian Redwood which is a slow grown timber with a decorative grain and is ideal for out door use due to the fact that it has also been pressure treated.

You don't have to worry about painting these chairs as the treatment that they have had protects them against rot and decay. Left untreated the wood will turn an attractive, silvery grey over time, however, if you want to add a colour or stain then that is fine as the wood will take pretty much any product.

Our furniture is solid and substantial and we do not use nail guns, every piece has been pilot drilled then screwed together.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
