Delivery

Estimated delivery is 3–5 working days. Free pallet delivery applies to mainland England and Wales. The chest is delivered assembled to the nearest safe accessible point; two-person handling is recommended once delivered.

Weather note: the timber is pressure treated and the lid is felt covered, but the chest is not sealed or waterproof. Use extra protection for moisture-sensitive cushions or textiles during prolonged wet weather.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
