Good delivery sturdy material, but I had to take most of it apart first when fitting the legs to the cross brace I had to unscrew both cross races because the were poorly installed they were both out of square with the table making both legs out of line, secondly both of the bench seats didn’t fit I had to unscrew the the parts that screw them to the brace and adjust both by 30 mm they were also out of line, it’s now as it should have been and looks good

Natural timber

Pressure-treated timber is a natural outdoor material. Knots, colour variation, small splits, checking and movement can occur as it seasons. The surface will gradually weather towards a silver-grey colour if left untreated. Decorative oil or stain can be used if you want to maintain or alter the appearance.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
