Our top quality, sustainable wooden market chalets are hand made. We use tanalised Scandinavian redwood, which is chosen for its attractive and unique grain, colour, and strength. The natural rustic finish lends itself perfectly to Christmas market themes. The chalets can be painted to suit without any detriment to the preservative treatment in the timber. They can be manufactured to the size of your choice. There's also the option of having them connecting to make a double size chalet.

Different door and hatch options are available, and custom made shelving can be made to fit as an added extra. Making them extremely versatile and suitable for a variety of traders needs. They can be used for everything from caterers to ticket sales to vendors to Santa's Grottos. Featuring key lock doors and sturdy log lap effect panels, the chalets are easily and effectively secured when not in use.

Our market chalets are built to last for many years due to the quality of materials used and our unique design. They are assembled and dismantled much more easily than some other chalets on the market without detrimental effects to the product. Our chalets are slotted together using holes and pegs for easy and efficient assembly and breaking down.

We are able to provide multiple quantities, and we can organise transport and installation if required. Please enquire.

We also do chalets to hire, also available in multiples, please request a quote.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
