Felted Heavy Duty Wooden Log Store – 5ft High x 6ft Wide

Heavy-duty, pressure-treated redwood log storage with a felt-covered sloping roof. Handmade in our North Staffordshire workshop, this model combines substantial timber construction with added roof protection for outdoor firewood.

Key features

  • Nominal size: approximately 5ft high × 6ft wide; confirm the depth and roof overhang before ordering.
  • Timber: pressure-treated Swedish/Scandinavian redwood.
  • Roof: a sloping roof finished with mineral felt to help shed rainwater.
  • Ventilation: timber log-store construction encourages airflow around stored firewood.
  • Assembly: supplied in pre-made sections with fixings and instructions.
  • Made in Staffordshire: from our own UK manufacturing workshop.

Delivery and access

The website's standard pallet delivery estimate is generally 5–10 working days for eligible mainland UK postcodes, subject to the live delivery information shown for your address. Delivery is by kerbside pallet courier; a large vehicle may be used. Contact us in advance if access is narrow or the ground is soft or uneven.

Care and weather resistance

The felt roof offers additional protection from rain falling directly onto the store, but the open-sided timber structure is not a fully waterproof enclosure and firewood should still be allowed to ventilate. Pressure treatment helps resist outdoor rot and decay; it is not a promise of maintenance-free or guaranteed 25-year performance. Natural wood changes with the weather and needs periodic care.

Why Churnet Valley?

Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.

All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
