This is a lovely ergonomically styled garden bench, made to sit two people.
We have selected the finest Swedish Redwood and had it pressure treated to the highest grade to ensure maximum penetration of the timber, and removing the need for constant retreating against rot. Before the wood is treated we have it planed and have the corners machined so each piece has a nice smooth finish with no sharp edges.
The design of this lovely stylish bench has been carefully considered with comfort in mind. We have angled the back rest of the seat to perfection, with its curved lines and smoothed edges we always get comments about how comfortable these seats really are when we exhibit at shows and events.
This garden bench along with the rest of our handsome furniture range is designed with a traditional, classic look, and is made to be used in harmony with all the other pieces in the range. Giving you endless possibilities to dress your gardens to suit your own taste and make the best use of your outdoor space.
Our furniture is eco-friendly because we only use wood from Scandinavian forests that are managed responsibly by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that when trees are cut down, more are planted in their place. We also take the extra step of having our wood pressure-treated to protect it against weather for many years. Most garden furniture today is made to last only three or four years, but our products are built to last almost four times longer, which helps protect the planet's natural resources.
All of our products are handmade. Since they are made from natural wood, you might see some small cracks or splits. This happens because wood can lose moisture in warm, dry weather or when exposed to strong sunlight. In cooler, wetter weather, the wood takes in moisture again, which can help reduce these cracks. These natural changes don't affect the quality of our products. We do our best to smooth out splinters and rough edges, but we might not catch every single one.
